Integrated Steel Plant

An integrated steel plant enhances efficiency and cost-effectiveness by consolidating all
production processes in one location. This setup reduces transportation costs, speeds up
production, and ensures consistent product quality through centralized monitoring.

Additionally, it optimizes resource utilization, reduces waste, and minimizes environmental
impact, contributing to sustainable steel production.

KILN

The Kiln is a vital component in the production of High-Quality Steel, designed for the efficient Reduction of Iron Ore into Sponge Iron. Utilizing a Rotary Kiln, this process involves heating the iron ore to the required temperature, facilitating the Removal of Oxygen and converting it into Porous, Sponge-like Iron. This method ensures a Consistent and High- Purity output, serving as a crucial intermediate for further steel production processes. The kiln's precision and efficiency play a key role in maintaining the Quality and Integrity of the Final Steel Products.

FERRO ALLOY

The production of Ferro Alloys, particularly Silicon Manganese, is integral to enhancing steel's properties. This process involves High-Temperature smelting in Electric Arc Furnaces, where Manganese ore, Silicon, and other raw materials are combined to create a robust alloy. Silicon Manganese is essential in steel manufacturing, acting as a Deoxidizer and Alloying agent to improve Strength, Hardness, and Durability. Our commitment to quality ensures that the Ferro Alloys produced meet stringent industry standards, significantly contributing to the superior performance of our steel products.

FURNACE

Furnace is a device used to Heat and Melt Metal ore to Remove Gangue, primarily in Iron and Steel production. The Heat Energy to fuel a furnace may be supplied directly by Fuel Combustion, through Induction Heating.

CONTINUOUS CASTING MACHINE

Steel Melting Shop (SMS) receives Hot Metal (HM) from Iron-making units and converts it into various grades of Steel and casts them into Slabs, Blooms, Billets, Beam blanks, Rounds and thin slab- HR coils. Those are delivered as products to downstream units (Long, Section & Flat Products). SMS is the first stage in the Steel manufacturing value chain where product Differentiation and Customization starts.

ROLLING MILL

In Metalworking, rolling is a metal forming process in which metal stock is passed through One or More pairs of Rolls to Reduce the Thickness and to make the Thickness Uniform. Rolling is classified according to the Temperature of the metal rolled. If the temperature of the metal is above its Recrystallization Temperature, then the process is known as Hot Rolling.

POWER PLANT

Nakoda Group’s power plant boasts advanced technology to ensure efficient energy production, featuring a CFBC (Circulating Fluidized Bed Combustion) Boiler and two WHRB (Waste Heat Recovery Boilers). The CFBC Boiler is renowned for its ability to burn a wide range of fuels efficiently, providing high combustion efficiency and reduced emissions. The WHRB Boilers capitalize on waste heat from industrial processes, converting it into useful energy, thereby enhancing overall plant efficiency and sustainability. With turbines of 6MW, 8MW, and 12MW, the plant ensures a stable and scalable power supply to support our steel manufacturing operations, optimizing energy use and promoting Eco-Friendly practices.
